No, it wasn’t for having a number 1 selling album on PayPal, but she was the first female artist to get a prison sentence in her time. Why she went to jail, you ask? For lying to the jury about her friends being involved in a shootout.

Fun fact you might not know about the iron man himself, Robert Downey Jr: he was introduced to drugs at the same age most kids are introduced to school. At the ripe age of just 6 years old, Robert was already causing mayhem and continued on this path during his Hollywood years.

You might know Don King as a famous boxing promoter.. Or for his incredibly questionable hair. He's the man that gave the world Mike Tyson... but the man is also very well-known by the police.

Yep, your favorite vampire journalist, radio jockey and skateboarder went to jail for 59 days for assaulting his girlfriend while using a ton of drugs.

The rapper most famous for his auto tuned voice that practically ruined music forever… got sentenced to 1 year in prison for illegal gun possession and he didn't serve it on a boat.

This list proves that it’s not just Hollywood men who seem to have trouble with the law. The ‘Lost’ star really did seem lost back in the day.

You probably won’t know who this is until I mention ‘Machete’ from Spy Kids. Hes that weathered latino actor who seems to be in everything!
12. Lauryn Hill
Thats right, the favorite ‘Killing Me Softly’ Fugees singer faced jail time for not paying her taxes. Seems like her miseducation goes beyond her music.
13. Jamie Waylett
Name doesn’t ring a bell? Think magic. Hogwarts. Draco Malfoy’s BFF. What was his name? Vincent Crabbe. Yup, that guy.
14. Rip Torn
Rip Torn is another one of those guys much like Danny Trejo who seems to find his way into everything that's being made in hollywood.. My personal favorite role of his was in vince vaughns Dodgeball movie.
15. Phil Spector
If you enjoy any kind of great musical recording from the 1970s… then you can credit Phil Spector for that pleasure. The true winner of all celebrities in jail can only be the person who is still in there.
