Mysterious Bermuda Triangle Disappearances

The Bermuda Triangle; A dangerous and mysterious place. The Bermuda triangle is responsible for in explainable disappearances, lost boats, planes and people, where did they all go? Why can’t we find them still….

Ellen Austin

In 1881, Ellen Austin passed through the Bermuda Triangle, where it came across another tall ship, moving quickly through the waters... except there was no-one onboard and no signs of a struggle. The Ellen Austin's captain ordered some of his crew to board the mystery ship to sail it along side the Ellen Austin back to London.

Teinmouth Electron

1969: The Sunday Times Golden Globe Race was going to be starting soon. This would be an event that would reward whoever could go around the globe in a ship completely solo. Contestants would radio in their locations and when the race was over, would win a cash prize. One of these contestants was one Donald Crowhurst, a businessman who had put a lot of money into designing his own boat, the Electron.

Star Tiger and Star Ariel

Janurary 20, 1948. The Star Tiger, a British South American Airways Tudor IV aircraft was flying to Bermuda from England. The Captain, B. W. McMilan, reported clear skies and that he was expecting to be at their destination by 5:00 am. Neither he nor the 21 passengers were ever seen again.

December 5, 1945. It was Christmas time and all across america,children were fast at work making their wishlist for Santa. young couples were flocking to the cinema to spend their hard-earned allowance to see House of Dracula.. and all seemed well in the world. But off the coast of Florida, something big happened, something that would go down in history as one of the most famous cases of a Bermuda Triangle disappearance.

USS Cyclops

The USS Cyclops is, to this day, the single greastest loss of life in US Navy history that didn't involve combat. The USS Cyclops was a massive frieght ship ferrying coal to Brazil from the States to aid in the war effort in 1918. It left port at Rio de Janerio and was slated to dock in Barbados, except it never made it there.

Three separate Piper-PA aircraft were lost in the triangle between 2005 and 2007. July 1947, a C-54 aircraft flying through the triangle headed for Florida from Bermuda. T

Number X. Witchcraft

In 1967, a 23-foot long luxury cabin cruiser called the Witchcraft was lost off the coast of Miami, just inside the triangle. The owner, a man named Burrack and his friend, Father Patrick Horgan, were out enjoying some Christmas lights off the coast, barely a mile off-shore.
