Everyone has cheated in a friendly sports game from time to time but there are some athletes that took their deceit to an incomprehensible level.
Spanish Paralympic Basketball Team
The 2000 Summer Paralympic games were rife with chicanery. But the most notable piece of deception belongs to the Spanish Paralympic Basketball team and is often referred to as the most outrageous moment in sporting history.
Plaster of Panama
Panama Lewis was the anti-Christ of 80’s boxing. Lewis was a boxing trainer for Puerto Rican boxer Luis Resto. But what make Panama Lewis such a villain? Before a match between undefeated boxer Billy Collins and Luis Resto, Lewis tampered with Resto’s glove in order to pack an extra punch.
